About Us

Chris is a guitar player and producer/songwriter with over 15 years of experience recording and producing. Born and raised in Newton, MA, Chris was first introduced to classic rock at a young age and took up guitar shortly after. During high school, he joined a local band and began honing his playing and performing skills while studying with local artists. During his studies at Penn State, Chris started a guitar club and taught groups and private guitar lessons. Upon graduation, Chris began working in different music studios and venues around the greater Boston area as a recording engineer and live sound technician. As a teacher, Chris believes instructors should have a thoughtful and organized approach to create a smooth experience that avoids frustration. He also believes that patience is key for both teaching and learning in all areas of life.

Jason is a world-class recording engineer, bassist, and producer. A gifted musician, healer, and performer, Jason has been passionate about music since the age of five. He holds a Degree in Piano Performance from the Boston Conservatory and a second in Bass/Production from Berklee College of Music. With over 20 years of recording experience, he celebrates his 10th year working with MLOF. He studied under the renowned Anthony "Rocky" Gallo in New York City—known for his work with artists such as John Legend and KRS-One. Jason now leads our Boston-based studio operations, catering to local artists seeking one-on-one recording, live rehearsal space, production sessions, mixing, and mastering. In addition to his engineering and performance background, Jason incorporates elements of sound as a healing tool—focusing on vibrational connection, energy alignment, and creating a safe, creatively open space for artists to express and evolve through their sessions.
